Haworth & Bronte Country Tour
The Bronte family including the three famous sisters Emily, Charlotte and Anne were raised in Haworth where they left their mark on literary history with novels such as Wuthering Heights, Jane Eyre and the Tenant of Wildfell Hall.
Our tour of Bronte Country takes in Halifax with the Impressive Piece Hall and Minster plus can include Shibden Hall with its links to Ann Lister. We will then visit Hebden Bridge with its wealth of independent shops and Heptonstall with its Norman church ruins, small cloth hall and many old stone weavers cottages.
Next we drive over the wild Bronte moors past Peckett Well and Oakworth into Howarth visiting the Church of St Michael and All Angels with its Bronte Vault, The Bronte Parsonage Museum and take a walk down the steep cobbled high street full of craft shops and café’s.
This tour is a full day private driver guided tour in a 4×4 vehicle and the cost is £820 for up to 4 passengers plus Bronte Parsonage entrance fee.
