Heartbeat Country

Heartbeat  has been loved by audiences all over the world since it started in 1992. Our tour takes you to the fictional North York Moors location of Aidensfield so you can see where the show was filmed. We can take the train from Grosmont to Goathland before walking back along a great route to Grosmont before driving over the Moors for fish and chips in Whitby.

Calendar Girls Locations

The story of the Ryleston Womens Institute who posed naked for a charity calendar was made into a film in 2003 which like the calendar became a huge success in its own right. Filmed in the Yorkshire Dales - our trip explores some of the stunning locations as well as seeing where the real life "calendar girls"came from. 

James Herriot Country Tours

DCI Banks is a British crime drama series shown on ITV in the UK. The series is based on the Peter Roninson's Insector Alan Banks novels and starred Stephen Tomkinson. The award winning drama was shot at locations in the cities of Leeds & Bradford, as well as around Airedale, Wharfedale & Nidderdale. Our tour visits many of these recogisable locations.

Downton Abbey - The Movie Location Tours

Explore some of the key locations from the critically acclaimed Downton Abbey - The Movie which came out in 2019. We have a choice of 1 or 2 day tours which visit locations such as Harewood House, where the King and Queen visited in the film after staying at Downton Abbey. The popular Netflix period TV drama Bridgerton used some famous Yorkshire locations for filming. Our tour will visit Castle Howard which doubled as Clyvedon Castle, the family home of the Duke of Hastings as well as the local village of Coneysthorpe. We will also visit the historic City of York, to explore what life was like during Regency times and see grand architetcture from the time.
