Come and explore Hull and see why the city has been awarded the honour of City of Culture for 2017.
This is a full day out and with so much to see - the day is best tailored to suit your interests. There are so many places to visit from the Maritime Museum with its seafaring and whaling displays, to the Ferens Art Gallery with its maritime seascapes.
Or the Museums Quarter with Wilberforce House Freedom Museum, the Hull & East Riding Museum & Streetlife and the Arctic Corsair trawler - you're best picking a couple and giving yourself time to go round and do them justice.
If we're bringing you to Hull, our day will start the day with a stop at the iconic Humber Bridge, once the world's largest single span suspention bridge when it opened in 1982. We will then park close to Princes Quay and take in the magnificent architecture of Queens Square.
We can offer gentle walking tours of the City (as part of a driver guided package or as a straight walking tour) - where we will hear about Hull's history from it's role in the English Civil War to its fishing & whaling heritage. We will keep bumping into artworks on the Hull Fish Trail as well as following in the footsteps of reknowned poet Philip Larkin.
We will see the amazing building which is The Deep, Britain's only submarium - where there is a great shark feeding session at lunchtime if you are interested in the natural world, as well as hundreds of fishes and underwater creatures.
We will visit Trinity Square with its gothic church, walk along The Land of Green Ginger and see the smallest window in England!
There are plenty of places we can stop for tea & coffee as well as some great places for lunch including the vibrant Marina area or traditional pubs in the Old Town.
This really is a great day out and you'll see why Hull rightly deserves its place in the limelight!
